featherloom: This scene from Teen Wolf, in which Isaac takes a dying dog’s pain away, was one of the most moving scenes I’ve experienced on television in some time, and it says a lot about Isaac’s budding friendship with Scott.  Isaac’s life has been ruled by intimidation and abuse, first with his father and then, to a lesser extent, with Derek (who really only knows how to lead via intimidation).  Scott is different.  Scott is kind.  He’s a fundamentally kind person; he can’t help himself.  And this moment is so powerful because Scott and Dr. Deaton show Isaac that he is also capable of an act of great kindness.  It’s a pivotal moment for Isaac.  He can be better.  He can be kind despite everything.  This moment chokes me up every time.
